Tonkinese
The Tonkinese is the result of breeding Burmese to Siamese and is said to combine the best qualities of each. If Tonkinese are bred together, the expected ratio is 50% Tonkinese, 25%Burmese colour, and 25% Siamese colour. They are a pointed breed whose shape should neither be too long and angular nor too short and round, but a combination of both. Eye colour should preferably be blue-green. Temperament also combines the two breeds, being lively, intelligent and very friendly. Not as vocal as the Siamese, it is inquisitive and needs plenty of space.
