I live close to Mount Taranaki, minutes from the beach, close to the coastal town of Oakura, New Plymouth Taranaki, New Zealand. Breeds owned and/or bred: Siamese/Oriental, Bengal, Sphynx, Persian and domestic. I have held a number of club positions including Shorthair Registrar, Breeds Standard Council and Breed representative, committee member.

Judging

I Started judging cats in 2007 as a shorthair judge, I qualified in 2018, as an all breeds judge licensed with the New Zealand Cat Fancy. My horse judging experience has helped me to appreciate form and function, invitations including the NZ Royal Agricultural Show and Horse of the Year shows.

Career

From Information Services Manager for a multi-national company, running a Boarding cattery, owning two Veterinary clinics, voluntary work; I am back to Information technology and business administration. I have served on Local Advisory committees for Tertiary information technology degree and diploma courses, and other voluntary positions with various organisations and clubs.

Other Interests

I enjoy boxing, mixed martial art, and equine related activities. Reading, gardening and database programming take up any time left.
