I'm a cat lover from way back. In 1987, with my husband John, we started breeding Birmans under the prefix LEEGRGO. Then we went in to a breeding program with the NZCF to breed Tabby Birmans with the prefix BIRPUR. I have had some excellent show moments with Father/ Son/ and Grandson wining National Show and also two of these cats been Longhair Cat of the Year.

2017 has been a great year with Breeding Best Longhair Cat and Best Longhair Kitten in NZCF.

Club work

I am a member of The Sacred Temple Birman Cat Club of New Zealand and are a Life member, I have held position of Club President, Secretary and show Secretary. I am also a Life member of Taranaki Cat Club Inc, which is all breeds club held position as President, Treasurer, Secretary newsletter editor

All Breeders Lead Tutor Judges School 2016
Have work on the NZCF EC in most positions over period of 12 years
Was Treasurer for NZCF for 5 years.
In 2017, I was honored to become a life member of the New Zealand Cat Fancy Inc

My Judges Training started in 1999, I became a Senior Longhair Judge in 2003, 2009 I became a student again and did my training for Shorthair. All Breeds Judge in 2013, I am also All Breeds Tutor Judge 2016.
Very honored to be a Life member in two of NZCF Clubs as well as the NZCF Inc

International Judging

I really enjoy the judging scene, meeting the exhibitors of these beautiful cats, talking to breeders about their breeds, you are always learning as a Judge, every time I am out on the floor it is very rewarding. I have judged in most of the Australian States.
